Erin is an Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer at ASTM International. She brings over three years of experience spanning additive manufacturing, alloy development, feedstock preparation, and high-temperature materials testing. She has a strong technical background in materials engineering and metal additive processes. After graduating from The University of Birmingham in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering, she went on to study for a PhD in collaboration with Cooksongold. Her area of research is focused on developing novel Cu-Ag alloys using LPBF for high temperature applications. Through this work, Erin gained expertise in alloy design, process optimization, and materials characterization, contributing to the growing field of high-performance additively manufactured alloys.
