Webinar Series

Additive Manufacturing webinar series covers a variety of topics delivered by instructors from industry, academia, and regulatory bodies.

Personnel Certificate Programs

Personnel Certificate Programs are designed to meet the large demand for a skilled workforce to support the rapid implementation of AM technology. This certificate programs are aimed to fill the AM knowledge gap by providing  world-class training from industry leaders to equip the future AM workforce with highly valued technical skills. Personnel certificate programs comprise of General AM course and role-based AM courses. General AM course provides a comprehensive understanding of all the aspects of AM technology and the role-based courses helps to gain skill sets for specific AM roles such as Designer, Application engineer, and Quality Engineer.

Snapshot Workshops

Snapshot workshops are intended to provide a general understanding about the entire AM value chain covering different elements in AM processes, AM application across various industries, the gaps exists in AM standardization, and research needs to fill those gaps. Snapshot workshops are conducted twice in a year in conjunction with ASTM F42 standard committee meetings. This workshops are led key experts from Industry and academia, and also serves as a platform for the discussions on latest standard development activities. The topics for the future workshops are selected based on the feedback from AM stakeholders, previous attendees.

Specialty Workshops

Specialty workshops provide a deeper understanding on a specific topic. The topics covered are both technology specific and industry specific. This workshop gather insights from technical experts on gaps, pain points, identify opportunities, and suggest methods to develop solutions. One of the intended outcomes from this workshop is to develop strategic guidance that can lead to development of standards.

Additive Manufacturing Conference

International Conference on Additive Manufacturing (ICAM) is a flagship event from ASTM AM CoE which will be held annually. This is a forum for the exchange of ideas regarding the additively manufactured materials and components with a focus on the lack of industry standards, design principals, as well as qualification and certification criteria. This international conference is designed with multiple symposium tracks that brings in stakeholders from all applicable areas for additive manufacturing.

AM CoE by the Numbers

With decades of experience in additive manufacturing, our team of experts is integral to our work. With team members located throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia, the AM CoE is able to provide agile support for global initiatives.
