Organized by U.S. Commercial Service, ASTM International, ISO – International Organization for Standardization, and America Makes and in partnership with Mesago Formnext
This one-day workshop at Formnext 2023 is dedicated to discussing the standardization needs for additive manufacturing and will enable you to engage with experts to discuss standard practices and overcome implementation challenges in areas such as:
- Additive Manufacturing workflow automation
- Data integrity, sharing and security
- Development in AM hardware in integrating closed loop controls
- AM integration to industry 4.0
- Qualification and certification leveraging digital thread
- Sustainability opportunities with AM covering lifeing models using digital thread
- Digital thread to enable quality assurance
This event is comprised of technical talks, an interactive panel discussion, and a break-out session led by industry leaders from many industry sectors currently using AM.
Who Should Attend
The workshop is open to all engaged in AM activities, including Executives, Managers, AM Engineers, and Technicians from industry, research institutes, academia, and government agencies.
Why You Should Attend
This is an excellent opportunity to understand and appreciate how AM standards have been used across different industry sectors. You will get first-hand information from the industry leaders who are effectively using standards in their AM operations. The panel discussions and break-out sessions allow you to interact with industry experts about the standard practices and methods to overcome challenges in the implementation of AM.
