About
Quality and reliability are crucial in additive manufacturing – especially in regulated industries such as aerospace, medical, and automotive. An important factor here is inspection and quality assurance. The challenge here is that 3D-printed components often have internal structures, residual stresses and material inconsistencies that are barely visible from the outside.
We will be discussing the current challenges and solutions in inspection in this webinar. Dr. Don Roth, Inspection Fellow at Wohlers Associates, one of the leading experts in this field, will present the latest developments and answer your questions. The program is structured to cover the following topics:
- General Overview of Inspection Techniques
- AM Inspection Challenges
- X-Ray Computed Tomography of AM Parts: Case Studies
- Q&A
The webinar will help you to understand why the right knowledge about inspection not only enables reliable AM production, but can also help to improve the entire production process, including component design. Don’t miss this opportunity—reserve your spot today!
