ASTM International and Formnext 2022 Announce Standards Forum and Wohlers Report LIVE

ASTM International and Formnext announce the Standards Forum and Wohlers Report LIVE, Nov. 14, at Formnext 2022 in Frankfurt, Germany. This event, supported by Mesago Messe Frankfurt, the organizer of Formnext, seeks to provide Formnext 2022 attendees with knowledge and understanding of the additive manufacturing (AM) products on display at Formnext and serve as a roadmap for the upcoming show.

Attendees are invited to join the Standards Forum at Formnext 2022, returning for its 4th year. The Standards Forum is organized by ASTM International, U.S. Commercial Service, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and supported by Formnext. This one-day workshop focuses on using predictive-based qualifications to drive AM industrialization in various industry sectors, increasing awareness around standardization and fostering transatlantic collaboration in the field.

Following the Standards Forum this year is Wohlers Report LIVE, an interactive, evening event that includes presentations on key findings and industry trends and audience discussion with the Wohlers Report team. Attendees will gain expert advice and insight on the future of the AM industry, materials and part production, scaling to production, opportunities for investment, and more. Wohlers Report LIVE will also serve as a roadmap for attendees to maximize their experience at Formnext 2022.

“Wohlers Report LIVE will provide perspective that you cannot get elsewhere,” said Terry Wohlers, head of advisory services and market intelligence at Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM. “The AM industry is constantly evolving, which can create challenges to make the best possible AM-related decisions. Our experts offer the most relevant information on the current state of AM and how it affects you and your organization.”

“Offering a platform for the ASTM Standards Forum and Wohlers Report LIVE the day before Formnext perfectly combines the world of standards with one of world´s best known industry reports,” states Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext at Mesago Messe Frankfurt. “Joining these with the world’s leading trade fair for additive manufacturing creates even more tailwind for the AM community and beyond.”

Each year at Formnext, visitors experience new technologies and services that advance the development of AM worldwide. Bundle packages to attend both events are available. Registration to Wohlers Report LIVE includes Wohlers Report 2022 and a complimentary pass to Formnext 2022.
