Sean Hill

Additive Manufacturing Technical Manager

Sean Hill is an accomplished engineering leader with over 15 years of experience in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as an Additive Manufacturing Technical Manager with ASTM’s Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence. Prior to joining ASTM, Sean led cross-functional teams at Moog Inc. as a Senior Engineering Manager, where he was instrumental in the design and development of liquid chemical propulsion systems and the integration of additive manufacturing technologies such as laser powder bed fusion. His background spans a range of engineering roles across spaceflight, military, and commercial programs, and he has been a driving force behind early-career development initiatives. Sean holds a Master of Science in Product Development from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
