About the Course

Though the focus of the course will be deploying binder jetting for manufacturing dense metal parts, the webinar will present the four primary outcomes from binder jetting including:

  • Bound Particulate
  • Structured Porosity
  • Infiltrated Materials
  • Fully dense single alloy metal (and ceramics)

This webinar will review the various workflows, and highlight cases where BJT is most suitable while pointing out design features important to BJT

  • Have a general sense of the guidelines for part design when transitioning to BJT
  • Understand, broadly, how the equipment and processes work
  • Understand strengths and weaknesses of BJT

    Dan Brunermer

    Dan Brunermer is a Technical Fellow at ExOne and his background focuses in manufacturing and automation. Dan started in Binder Jetting Additive manufacturing in 2001. He developed X1’s first commercially successful printer, the R2. Dan is an expert in jetting technology, holds several patents related to BJT processes, and now serves as Technical Fellow, leading their efforts in education and standardization.
