Aloysius is an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Project Engineer at ASTM International, having worked with AM technologies since 2016. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore with a B. Eng (Mechanical, with a specialization in Manufacturing Engineering) with a Second Major in Business. During his time as an undergraduate, he worked in the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) where he developed a novel method for Multi-Material Powder Bed Fusion AM, concurrently interning at ASTM International, supporting training, certification, and advisory efforts for AM in the region. He has since joined ASTM full-time, while starting a part-time PhD at NTU in the topic of Fatigue in Metal AM Components. Prior to his time at ASTM International, he worked closely with AM end-users through his experience in Application Engineering at Nikon SLM Solutions, where he delivered professional training and technical guidance related to Laser Powder Bed Fusion technology.
