Jie Lin Ng

Additive Manufacturing Research Analyst

Jie Lin Ng is the Additive Manufacturing Research Analyst for ASTM International. In her role, she is responsible for conducting data acquisition, develop visualizations of data, analyse emerging trends and opportunities for Additive Manufacturing and beyond. She received her B.Eng (Mechanical) and MSc (Manufacturing Systems and Engineering, specialization in AM) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Jie Lin is a certified reliability engineer in the Defence industry and worked closely with different functional groups under stringent military standards. She has more than five years of AM experience, with development of Qualification framework for AM processes being her most recent work. She successfully developed a complete solution from pre to post AM processes to enable test bedding of the manufactured components and translation into production-ready solution.
